We have been raising long hair AKC Reg. Chow Chow puppies since 2003. Within the pedigrees of our chows, their are several CHAMPIONS. We have been selective in our males and females. We feel we have purchased and raised high quality chows with very, very good personalities that make an all around family oriented companion. Feedback on puppies has been very good, with no feedback about   agressive temperaments. All of our chows have a warm place inside. On the farm we have plenty of room for our chows to run outside. They never have attempted to dig under or jump or climb over the farm fence. We think a lot of our Chow Chows. We will do our best to sell you a sound, happy, healthy, lovable puppy . Hair Coat :  Long - haired 
Colors :  red, cinnamon, cream, blue, black and   --   ( dilute ) shaded  red, shaded black  and  shaded blue 
Weight :  female - 40 to 50 pounds   male - 50 to 70 pounds
Stile :  large head, short wide nose, blue/ black tongue, small ears, heavily boned short legs, big wide paws, to stand wide, powerful, sturdy, squarely built  from front to back. Body same in length as in height and tail to lay down against back. Has a bear or lion like  appearance, with stilted gait.    ( male approx. 17" to 20" in  height )                                   

We feed the mother extremely well three times a day while her puppies are nursing, she has lots of milk and does not lose weight. She also has dry food in front of her at all times. When the puppies are old enough to eat, they are fed three times a day, and also have dry puppy food in front of them at all times. Our puppies learn to go outside as soon as they can see and walk. Winter or summer weather does not bother them at all, Chow puppies love the snow and play a lot outside.  Chow Chows long hair insulates them from hot and cold, never shave off their hair. The puppies have a clean, warm, insulated building, with heat lamps over carpet. We handle the puppies a lot and let our eight grandchildren play with them. Puppies will be treated for worms at 3 weeks and 6 weeks and given an 8 way vaccine at 6 weeks. It is up to the new owner to continue this program of deworming and vaccine shots. You should work in accordance with your veterinarian. If a puppy is here longer than 6 weeks, we deworm and revaccinate at 9 weeks and 12 weeks of age. At five weeks, we wean our puppies. All puppies will get at least two baths before they leave for thier new home. At 6 weeks you can adopt a  SOUND, HEALTHY, FRIENDLY, puppy you will enjoy being with.              

Care for a Chow is not hard but it does take a little of your time. He should be brushed once a week. After you hold and brush your puppy a few times, he will stand real still while you work with him. Bathing is up to the individual, do not overbathe your chow or you will dry his skin. He will enjoy the attention you give to him. Chow puppies learn very fast, good and bad habits, so be careful what you let him do. You will also have to keep up his shots and deworming for the rest of his life. Chows house break very fast, if you are there to take the time. The more he is around people, the more likeable, and friendly your chow will be.                                                                                                          ( We accept CASH ONLY when a puppy is adopted and picked up. )
